    What other community partners say

We could not have hoped for a better foster grandmother. She is one of a kind and we would be lost without her. She makes each and every one of our children feel special and loved!!”

Thank you very much for the most positive influence you had on my daughter and myself. We miss you all. Please know what you do for our children does provide such a significant head start to academics as well as social and emotional skills necessary for life. Grandma helped to instill confidence and pride for who my daughter is. She misses her and brings her up in conversations although it has been 2 years.”

Our grandma has built a strong relationship with everyone she comes in contact with at school. Not only has she helped the students academically, but by helping them understand why it is important to be a good person who makes great decisions. My foster grandparent helps me be a great teacher.”

The heart of a volunteer is not measured in size, but by the depth of the commitment to make a difference in the lives of others. Our Foster Grandparents make a difference in the lives of our community’s children every single day by helping students with academics, as well as social and emotional support, and life skills that are critical to their development and future successes – enabling the next generation to be their best self. Foster Grandparents are an ESSENTIAL piece to this puzzle! They help our children to thrive.
